I have always had mixed feelings about telephone poles and wires. Mostly, I feel they are a blight on the landscape. However, sometimes their surroundings soften them. While they still stand out as alien figures on this countryside landscape, I feel the lines and poles are somewhat less offensive. The blazing sun is the focal point for me though; my eyes cannot help but be drawn to its glowing white shape and the golden peach clouds around it.
